Function Button

The function buttons are located in the upper right corner of the list view. These buttons perform the following operations on folders and files.

Button	Description
Create Folder	Create a new folder. Navigate to the folder path where you wish to create a new folder and click the “Create Folder” button.
File Upload	Upload a file. Navigate to the folder path where you wish to upload the file and click the “File Upload” button.
Folder Upload	Upload a folder. Navigate to the folder path you wish to upload and click the “Folder Upload”button.
Rename	Upload a folder. Select the object you want to rename and click the“Rename” button.
Copy Path	Copies the path of an object to the click board. Select the object and click the “Copy Path” button.
Copy to	Copy selected objects. Select the object and click the “Copy to” button to display a dialog box for selecting the copy destination.
Move to	Moves the selected object. Select the object and click the “Move to” button to display a dialog box to select the destination.
Delete	Delete selected objects. Select an object and click the "Delete" button. If a folder is selected, files stored in that folder and the folders under it will also be deleted.
Download	Download the selected objects. Select an object and click the “Download” button.

Note

When right-clicking on a folder or file, “Rename”, “Copy Path”, “Copy to”, “Move to”, “Delete” or “Download” will appear as a context menu.

Folder

The file manager initially has “Root” as the top level. “Root” corresponds to the path ‘/’. You can upload files to “Root”, but you can also create folders under it and upload files to them.

Note

Root is a special folder placed at the top. It cannot be edited or deleted.

File

This section describes how to manage files with the File Manager.

Note

The maximum length of a file path that can be handled by the file manager is 1024 bytes, encoded in UTF-8. Please be careful when uploading files with long file names or in deep folder hierarchies.

Upload

There are three methods for uploading files. Use any one of the following methods.

Uploading one or more files

1. Go to the target folder of the upload destination.
2. Click the function button "File Upload".
3. Select the client file.
4. The file will be uploaded.

When uploading files by folder

1. Go to the target folder of the upload destination.
2. Click the function button "Folder Upload".
3. Select the client’s folder.
4. The files are uploaded by folder.

When uploading by drag & drop

1. Go to the target folder of the upload destination.
2. Drag and drop files or folders from the client to the central area.
3. The file or folder will be uploaded.

Note

• For drag-and-drop uploads, the number of files uploaded is limited to 100 at a time. The number of files counted as eligible for uploading includes files contained in sub-folders. To upload a folder containing more than 100 files, follow the procedure in”when uploading files by folder” .
• The upload limit per upload is as follows

An object refers to a folder or a file.

Download

There are four methods for downloading files. Use any one of the following methods.

To download a single file

1. Select a file.
2. Click the function button [Download].
3. Click [Selected Items].
4. The file is downloaded.

To download multiple files from a single folder

1. Select multiple files.
2. Click the function button [Download].
3. Click [Selected Items].
4. A ZIP archive is downloaded to the client.

To download a single folder in the displayed folder

1. Select the folder to download.
2. Click the function button [Download].
3. Click [Selected Items].
4. A ZIP archive of the folder is downloaded.

To download the entire currently displayed folder

1. With the target folder displayed, click the function button [Download] without selecting any file or folder.
2. Click [All Items In Current Folder].
3. The save target folder information is shown. Click [Start Download].
4. To run download by service request, select the destination folder path.
5. A ZIP archive of the folder is downloaded to the selected folder.
6. After the download is complete, you can download it locally by following the steps in “To download a single file”.

Note

• The download method will vary depending on the number of objects selected and their total size.
  • If you are downloading a single file, it will be downloaded directly to the client.
  • If multiple files or folders are selected
    • If the total size is less than 50 MB, it will be downloaded to the client.
    • If the total size of the selected objects exceeds 50 MB, the download will be by service request.
• The download limit per download is as follows

Delete

To delete a file uploaded to the File Manager, follow these steps:

1. Select the file or files.
2. Click on the "Delete" function button.
3. The selected folder or file will be deleted.

Copy

To copy a file or files uploaded to the File Manager, do the following

1. Select the file or files.
2. Click on the “Copy” function button.
3. In the dialog that appears, specify the destination folder.
4. The selected folder or file will be copied.

Move

To move a file or files uploaded to the File Manager, do the following

1. Select the file or files.
2. Click on the "Move" function button.
3. In the dialog that appears, specify the destination folder.
4. The selected folder or file will be moved.

Copy Path

Click the function button "Copy Path" to copy the path to the click board. If a file is selected, it will be the path to the file; if a folder is selected, it will be the path to the folder.

Insert Path

When accessed from a component that uses a file manager to select a path, such as an image of a UI component, the path is automatically set when the file is selected and the function button "Insert Path" is clicked.
